Curriculum

Creative Movement

Young dancers -- 3 to 5 -- study Creative Movement. Hunter believes that this course is essential for the growth of dance artists. Through classical music, creative dramatics, and Isadora Duncan influenced movement studies, the very young dancer is allowed to express him or herself in an open and free environment. Elements of Ballet training are introduced at appropriate times in the hour-long classes. Dancers at this age are encouraged to identify and express their individual styles of movement.
Ballet I-IV and Pointe

Classical Ballet taught in a systematic methodology based on Hunter's study of styles (Russian, Cecchetti, RAD), her experience studying NYC-based contemporary Ballet, and on her own philosophy of training based on many years of teaching Ballet to all ages.
